annual THE GATHERING: AN ALLIANCE OF ELDERS,
HEALERS AND WISDOMKEEPERS SEPTEMBER 8-11, 2005.
THE GATHERING will be held for the fourth year
at Alpine Meadows Camps in Big Bear, California.

"mini united nations but from a spiritual
standpoint", THE GATHERING is based on the
ancient tradition of council where all voices
are equal.
It has long been prophesized by nearly every
indigenous community that as the Bushmen say the
"little people" will gather and dance around the

our differences, we will start to see that we
have more in common that we thought. THE
GATHERING provides neutral ground for all to
come together for the highest common good, to
hear and respect all points of view and to
provide a space for peace to exist across
borders, color lines and spiritual traditions.

Dear friends of the Tree of Life Family,
It is my pleasure to offer all of
you a very special pre-Halloween treat.
For the month of October, we will be
bringing back two of our favorite
artists for a special evening to
experience sounds and vibrations in a
magical and healing way.
Peter Ludwig, producer of Tonehenge,
will lead a discussion and musical
meditation demonstrating the various
human energy fields (chakras)
distinctly, and together, ending in a
deep and expanded awareness. You may
recall Peter's last cello and voice duet
on our Heroes event.
Richard Grossman, of soundJourney.com,
will be bringing his soundJourney
evening to the Tree of Life. Richard
opened our series with his Gong, and
everyone has been talking about it
since. Now he comes back for an extended
session with the extraordinary
percussionist and flautist
Marla Leigh.

the sound evening will be a discounted
